VUE Amsterdam

Vue Amsterdam forms part of a prominent mixed-use development in Amsterdam and reached completion in late 2025. The project comprised the full fit-out of a standalone building, delivering a modern, state-of-the-art cinema that reflects Vue’s contemporary brand, operational standards and premium customer experience.

Delta Green was initially engaged alongside the landlord’s team during the shell and core delivery phase, helping to establish the building services infrastructure required to support the future cinema fit-out. The project subsequently transformed the base building into a fully operational multiplex cinema, incorporating all mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) systems required to meet Vue’s technical and operational requirements.  

Delta Green has a long-standing relationship with Vue, having supported the delivery of numerous cinema developments across the UK and Europe, including projects in the Netherlands, Denmark and Italy. Building on this experience, Delta Green was appointed to develop the Stage 3 Building Services Design based on VUE’s established UK design standards and operational criteria.  The project was subsequently procured under a design and build contract, with the appointed contractor responsible for developing the detailed design in accordance with Dutch regulations and applicable European standards, while maintaining compliance with Vue’s Employer’s Requirements. Throughout this process, 

Delta Green provided technical oversight to ensure that the original design intent and performance objectives were maintained.  During construction, Delta Green acted as Client Representative, monitoring the installation, testing and commissioning of the building services systems on behalf of VUE. This role helped ensure the completed cinema achieved the quality, reliability and customer experience standards expected across the VUE estate, supporting the successful opening of the venue ahead of the 2025 Christmas season.
