In 2007 George graduated from the University of Nottingham, gaining an upper second class honours degree in Architectural Environment Engineering.  During this degree course George gained an understanding of building services design, with a specific focus on low carbon design and renewable technologies.

George has 10 years of experience in the construction industry, during which his M&E training has been focused towards sustainable construction and energy consultancy.  George trained as a BREEAM assessor in 2008, and has offered his expertise to add value to projects within in a wide range of sectors.

In late 2013 George joined the team at Delta Green Environmental Design as a Senior Sustainability Consultant. As well as delivering BREEAM consultancy, George continues to apply his experience to projects through his application of the IES software suite. By reviewing Part L performance, and assessing factors such as potential CO2 emissions, daylight levels and thermal performance George offers valuable advice to the project team, steering the design towards a low carbon and sustainable solution that performs beyond the client’s expectations.
