James Porter is the Managing Director of Delta Green Environmental Design and a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with over 25 years’ experience in the design and delivery of building services engineering. He has established a strong reputation for leading the delivery of high-quality, low-carbon solutions across a wide range of sectors, combining technical expertise with a clear strategic vision for the built environment.
James’ experience spans the full project lifecycle, from early-stage feasibility and concept development through to detailed design and construction. He brings a pragmatic, design-led approach to mechanical engineering, with a particular focus on energy efficiency, system optimisation, and the integration of sustainable technologies. His work is defined by a deep understanding of both technical performance and the commercial drivers that shape successful project outcomes.
As Managing Director, James is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the business, while maintaining an active role in project delivery and client engagement.
